My partner is in hospital on her birthday today

Today is supposed to be a joyous day as it's my partner's birthday, but she's still an inpatient and has been for about two weeks. I've got her presents all wrapped up and ready to give her but I'm gonna have to wait for to have leave at 4pm, which will only last till 8pm. She needs to be discharged now! They have done everything they can and at this point it's doing more harm than good. For fuck sake I have been off work, as I booked it off to spend time with her, since Nov 15th and I've been able to have a single full day with her. It's eating me up. All i want to do is spend time with her, alone and free, so we can do all the fun things we normally do and just cuddle up and forget about mental illness for a day.
